The Jayhawk Softball team completed the season sweep at Alpena Community College with a 8-0 victory on Sunday, 5/5.

Willo Staal (Fruitport) and Brooklyn Galdeen (Oakridge) again shared pitching duties with Staal working 2 innings and Galdeen working 4 innings. Jasmine Pastor (Oakridge) was 4-4, W. Staal was 3-3 including a double, a homerun and 2 RBI and Galdeen was 3-4 with a homerun and 2 RBI. Trinity Swanson (Grant) was 2-4.

MCC finishes the regular season with a 19-1 Northern Conference record (first place) and they are 26-10 overall. The qualify as the top seed in the Northern Conference and open Region XII play on Thursday, 5/9 at 4:00 pm. The games will be played at Marysville City Park in Marysville, MI.
