The MCC Softball team swept the season series from Delta College with 2 more wins, 4-1 in the opener and 10-5 in game 2.

Brooklyn Galdeen (Oakridge) was a jack of all trades; she picked up the win on the mound and was 3-3 with a home run and 2 RBI at the plate. Lilli Goodrich (Ludington) and Rachel Romero (Hesperia) were each 1-3.

In the final game of the series it was Goodrich getting the start and the win on the mound. She allowed 5 runs on 8 hits and racked up 9 strike outs. Willo Staal (Fruitport) was 3-5 at the plate and Illeana Hatcher (Whitehall) and Rachel Romero were both 2-3 at the plate.

MCC’s record stands at 15-1 in conference play and 22-8 overall. The game at Lake Michigan College has been canceled so the next action will be in Alpena on Friday, 4/26.
