The Jayhawk Women’s Soccer team lost at Kellogg Community College, 4-1.
The teams played to a 0-0 draw through the first half, but the Bruins took advantage of some MCC mistakes for the win. Avery Thomas (Whitehall) picked up the lone goal for the Jayhawks, scoring off a McKenna Gentry (Muskegon Catholic Central) corner with 4 minutes to play in the contest.
MCC finishes the regular season with 5-3 regional record and 7-10-1 overall. They will be the #4 seed at the NJCAA Regional Tournament that starts on Saturday, 10/28.
