The MCC Theater Department is seeking musicians and singers for its upcoming production of Paula Vogel’s play “A Civil War Christmas: An American Musical Celebration.”
Auditions take place in Overbrook Theater on Sunday, Sept. 28, from 4-7 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 29, from 5-8 p.m.
Performers on the harmonica, violin, guitar, concertina, snare drum and banjitar are encouraged to participate and will be asked to demonstrate their musical abilities on their respective instruments. Interested singers will be asked to perform “America, My Country Tis of Thee.” Copies are available in the MCC Arts and Humanities Office in Room 166.
