College Holiday Concert Features Local Singers, Wind and Jazz

MCC Holiday Concert

The Muskegon Community College Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble and College Singers will present their annual Holiday Concert on Friday, December 2 at 7:00 pm in the Orchard View High School Auditorium located at 16 N Quarterline Road in Muskegon. 

Conducted by Daniel M. Meyers and entering its ninth year, the MCC Wind Ensemble is comprised of MCC students, both music majors and non-music majors, interested in preparing and performing advanced wind band literature. 

The Jazz Ensemble, also directed by Daniel M. Meyers, is comprised of MCC students. This ensemble performs traditional and contemporary big-band jazz repertoire. 

The College Singers, the College’s full soprano, alto, tenor, and bass chorus, features MCC students and community members performing a wide variety of choral repertoire. The Singers are under the direction of Nicholas Palmer.
