With the first year of Muskegon Community College’s 2017-2022 Strategic Plan recently completed, the public is invited to offer its feedback at the College’s Strategic Plan Summit on Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 4-5 p.m. in Collegiate Hall.
“MCC is here to serve the students and community, so their ongoing input is essential to ensure our goals are addressing current and evolving needs,” explained Tina Dee, Director of Strategic Initiatives.
Community members will have the opportunity to provide feedback to MCC President Dale K. Nesbary and the Implementation Advisory Team on the following:
- MCC’s institutional five priorities and 25 goals (muskegoncc.edu/strategicplan);
- How MCC is measuring its success;
- Progress made during first year of implementation; and
- Focus areas for 2018-19
The MCC Strategic Plan, entitled “Successful Students, Successful Communities,” was crafted as a strategic plan “by the community, to the community” with more than 80 community members joining 100 campus employees and students in its development.
