MCC Seeks Musicians and Vocalists for Virtual Music Gift Performance

Local musicians and vocalists are encouraged to participate in Muskegon Community College’s Virtual Music Gift, an online celebration that will replace the College’s traditional holiday concert at the Frauenthal Center.

“MCC is creating a ‘Virtual Music Gift’ and we would like you, yes you, to be a part of it,” said Daniel M. Meyers, director of music at MCC. “Whether you sing, play an instrument, or neither, you can be a part of this exciting endeavor.”

Interested performers should email Meyers at with their name, as well as their musical instrument or voice part. The College will reply with a link to the music, a play-along track for practicing and recording, and instructions for submitting the work. The deadline for recording submissions is Friday, Nov. 20.

MCCs Virtual Music Gift will premiere on the College’s website and social media in December.
