From the hot topics of hydraulic fracturing and invasive species to the promise of alternative energy and aquaponics, Muskegon Community College’s Environmental Science students will share their semester-long findings in a semi-annual lecture series on Tuesday, June 25.
The presentations, which are free and open to the public, run from 12:30-2:30 p.m. in Room 241 on campus. Seating is limited. All the presenters are enrolled in Biology 110, taught by MCC adjunct instructor Tom Szten, who will also moderate the lecture series.
“We hope to foster awareness about the state and importance of the field as well as the specific topics covered each semester,” explained Szten.
