The 2014 Unity Breakfast at Muskegon Community College on Friday, Jan. 17, will feature two noted Canadian sports historians and documentary filmmakers who have written about the little-known but significant Colored Hockey League of the Canadian Maritimes.
George and Darril Fosty, authors of Black Ice: The Lost History of the Colored Hockey League of the Maritimes 1895-1925, will be the keynote speakers at the 18th Annual Unity Breakfast. The event begins at 7:30 a.m. in Collegiate Hall.
