The Jayhawk Track & Field teams competed as the only Juco team at the Steemer Classic at Wittenberg University in Ohio. The other 35 teams were NCAA Division I, Division 2, Division 3 and NAIA schools. MCC broke 7 school records and had 24 personal bests throughout the competition.

Leading the Women’s team with new school records were Natalie Erickson (Montague) in the 200m and 400m, Brooke Berry (Montague) in the shot put, and Maya Reeve (White Cloud) in the weight toss.

For the Men’s team Bryce Turner (Stow, OH) broke the 400m record which landed him 22nd in the country. Also setting new records were Kyler Dean (Vicksburg) in the 3000m, good for 31st in the country and the Men’s 4×400 team at 21st in the country.
