The Jayhawk Men’s Soccer team wrapped up a successful road trip with a 3-0 win over Lakeland Community College.

Jake Wright (Garforth Academy, UK) scored twice for the Jayhawks. Alex Elliott (Lakeview) assisted on the first goal and Evan Markos (Marshall) assisted on the second goal. MCC also got an unassisted goal from Rukundo Emmanuel (Innovation Central) who converted a freekick from just outside the 18 yard box. Lucas Lobo (E.E. Prof. Ahr Picanco Barbosa de Alme, Brazil) picked up the shutout win in goal.

MCC is now 2-2-1 in conference play and 5-3-1 overall. They travel to face Marian University’s Ancilla College on Wednesday, 10/4.
