The Women’s Soccer team continued their road trip with a 4-0 victory at Lakeland Community College on Sunday, 10/1.

MCC wasted no time getting on the score board. Lainey Canan (Zeeland East) scored off a corner service from McKenna Gentry (Muskegon Catholic Central) in the first minute of the game. Canan then scored on a penalty kick, Gentry added a score off another penalty kick and Taeah Rensberger (Reeths-Puffer) wrapped up the scoring assisted by Isabella Cifuentes (Zeeland West). The Jayhawks also got a solid team performance from Brie Hamann (Whitehall), Marissa Calderon (Ravenna) and Marissa Strandberg (Whitehall).

MCC is 3-7-1 in conference play and 5-7-2 overall. They travel to Donaldson, IN to face Marian University’s Ancilla College on Wednesday, 10/4.
