The Jayhawk Men’s Soccer team picked up a huge win over the 13th ranked Raiders from Grand Rapids Community College, 1-0.

Defensively the team only allowed 4 shots on goal with keeper Lucas Lobo (E.E. Prof. Ahr Picanco Barbosa de Alme, Brazil) making all 4 saves. The game winning goal came early in the second half when left back Alex Elliott (Lakeview) passed to Jayson Janofski (Marshall) who beat the defender 1v1 to score. With the win the Jayhawks extend their win streak and shutout streak to 5 games.

MCC is now 5-2-1 in conference play and 8-3-1 overall. They will play a return game with GRCC on Wednesday, 10/18 at 4:00 pm.
