The MCC Men’s Soccer team got back in the win column with a 6-1 victory over the visiting team from Marian University’s Ancilla College.

MCC got on the scoreboard early with a penalty kick from Jake Wright (Garforth Academy, UK). The Chargers evened the score before Rukundo Emmanual (Innovation Central) grabbed the lead back off a freekick with Wright picking up a second goal with a second left in the first half. In the second half it was all MCC as the defense allowed only 1 shot on goal while picking up goals from Jayson Janofski (Marshall), Ryan Laus (Fruitport) and Ibrahima Ndiaye (Mona Shores).

MCC is now 2-2-1 in conference play and 3-2-1 overall. They return to action on Saturday, 9/23 when the travel to Aquinas College for a 7:00 pm game under the lights.
