The MCC Jayhawk wrestlers may have dropped their first two contests of the season, but the young team still had plenty of bright spots. They opened with a tough loss to Niagara County Community College by a score of 30-24, followed by a loss to Olivet University by a score of 40-16. “We always go out looking for wins, but growth is more important this time of year, ” said new head coach Cody Carpenter. “These are lessons, not losses.”
