Commit to Success Day on Campus Today

The MCC Student Services and Student Life staff members are hosting Commit to Success Day on Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to focus attention on three areas important to MCC students achieving their academic goals.

Declaring an academic program is an important first stepping stone to earning a degree or certificate. So, the Counseling and Advising Office staff will be available all day, with no appointments necessary, to accommodate students walking in and signing a form that lists their academic program and expected completion date.

Next, students will go to the Student Life Office and sign a pledge that commits them to complete their course of study at MCC. They also will have the opportunity to sign their names on a specially designed Commit to Complete window.

Lastly, students will be asked to complete an Application for Graduation in the Student Life Office. Students are required to fill out the form twice at MCC, once in their semester before expected graduation and again during their final semester. Students cannot receive an MCC degree without submitting the completed application.

All students who fulfill the three steps on Commit to Success Day will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Barnes and Noble gift card.
