Cross-Generational Panel to Discuss Gay Life on Jan. 28

“Gay Through the Ages,” a panel discussion of how gay life has changed over four generations, will take place at Muskegon Community College on Monday, Jan. 28, at 7 p.m. in Stevenson Center Room 1100.

The event, sponsored by the Ethics Institute at MCC, is free and open to the public. A question-and-answer period will follow.

Jay Kaplan, the LGBT staff attorney at the American Civil Liberties Union, leads a panel of community members who range in ages from 20-year-olds to 80-year-olds.

“The panel will look at how growing up and being gay and lesbian has changed over the years,” said MCC Instructor Andy Wible, who chairs the Ethics Institute.
