While the job market for college graduates is expected to increase about 3 percent overall this year, according to Michigan State University’s annual Recruiting Trends report, the growth will be especially strong – a hiring increase of 31 percent – for those with associate’s degrees, as more jobs, particularly in manufacturing, require more technical training and education than they used to mandate.
