MCC Seeks Community Input Nov. 1 on Next Five-Year Strategic Plan

Since July, more than 140 volunteers from Muskegon, Ottawa, and Newaygo counties have worked closely with Muskegon Community College to help identify and draft the college’s priorities for the next five years.

Before those proposed goals are finalized and take effect in January, MCC is seeking final public feedback on them during an online community forum hosted by MCC President Dale K. Nesbary on Monday, Nov. 1, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

To join the Strategic Plan Preview Forum discussion, participants should use the following Zoom link: Meeting ID: 946 9628 4079 Passcode: 292448 To participate by phone, dial (646) 558-8656.

“As with our previous successful five-year plans, it is important to MCC that this be a strategic plan for the community and by the community, so we’ve solicited input from the campus and community members throughout the process,” said Tina Dee, director of strategic initiatives at MCC. “The Strategic Plan Preview Forum provide a final opportunity for everyone to weigh in on the proposed priorities and goals.”

MCC is also planning two Strategic Plan Preview Forums exclusively for its students.
