High school students, parents, and community members have the opportunity to visit online with representatives from 25 colleges and universities during the 2020 MCC Virtual College Fair Night on Monday, Oct.19, from 6-8 p.m.

MCC is combining its two popular October events – the College Fair and the Transfer Fair – into one virtual experience.

So, during the same time, MCC students can meet with college and university representatives to explore transfer options after MCC. Representative will have information about the admissions process, scholarships, financial aid, housing, and much more.

“College Fairs are pivotal for students when deciding their plans after high school or attending MCC, so we didn’t want to take this opportunity away,” explained Stephanie Briggs, the MCC Director of Admissions. “Instead, we made it virtual to ensure members of our community and surrounding areas could meet with different college representatives. We expect an amazing event and potential students to walk away with valuable information that will help them decide their next steps.”

“Once you decide to attend MCC, the transfer process begins,” added Heidi Romero, the MCC

Career Services and Transfer Coordinator. “It is very important to start your research about your transfer institution early – what classes will transfer, housing options, scholarships available, programs available and more.”

The event is free, but participants are asked to complete an online registration form.
