The Jayhawk Baseball team dropped two games to Grand Rapids Community College, 12-6 and 13-4.

In the opener the Jayhawks used 5 different pitchers with Cody Matuz (Fruitport) getting the start. Mason Brunworth (Mona Shores) finished 2-3 at the plate and Carter Hughes (Zeeland West) and Stephen Weinert (Ludington) both  were 2-4. Tanner Tresemer (Zeeland East) added a solo home run.

In game 2 it was Curtis Ellis (Norwell) who got the start and worked 5 innings. Brunworth was 3-4 and Dayton Thomas (Ravenna) was 2-3 with an RBI. MCC also got hits from Tresemer, Nate Lovell (Tri-County) and Weinert.

They travel to Belknap Park on Sunday, 4/14 for the conclusion of the season series.
