The Jayhawk Men’s Basketball Team lost on the road 70-62 at Alpena Community College.

MCC started the game slow as they continue to struggle to finish at the rim but the score was tied at 34-34 at the half. In the 2nd half there were 5 lead changes and 2 ties but Alpena was able to hang on for the victory. Jacob May (Ravenna) led the Jayhawks in scoring with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jadakiss Lewis (Kalamazoo Central) and Jacob Mueller (Charlevoix) both chipped in 14 points.

MCC is now 3-3 in the Northern Conference and 7-12 overall. They continue their trip with a game at Kirtland Community College on Saturday, 2/3 with tip off at 3:00 pm.
