Men’s Basketball Home vs. Kirtland Community College

February 24 @ 3:00 pm

The Jayhawk Men’s Basketball team defeated Kirtland Community College on Sophomore night 110-56.

MCC started the second half by pressing the Firebirds and they created some turnovers on the way to scoring 66 while holding Kirtland to 24 points. MCC also held a 47-25 advantage on the boareds. Lewis lead Muskegon with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Mueller finished with 16 points and 5 rebounds and freshman William Chye (Mason County Central) had 13 points. MCC also got double digit scoring from May and George with 12 points each and Joe Russau (Wyoming Lee) with 10 points.

MCC is 6-7 in conference play and 10-16 overall. They will take to the road for an important matchup with North Central Michigan College on Tuesday, 2/27 at 7:30 pm.
