We are thrilled to announce the 2024 MCC Student Pitch Competition! This competition will give current MCC students the opportunity to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills and advance their business concepts towards starting or scaling a business. The MCC Student Pitch finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their product, service, and/or new business idea to peers and members of the community.
Five students will have the opportunity to present a formal 3-5 minute pitch to a small panel of judges and will receive feedback, prizes, and official bragging rights. There will be three business pitch training sessions prior to the official pitch to ensure students are well prepared. Training sessions will take place on March 13th, 20th, and 27th from 5:30-7:30pm.
This year’s prizes:
$5,000 grand prize! − $2,000 2nd place − $1,000 3rd place
When: Wednesday, April 17, 2024
Where: Muskegon Community College, 221 S. Quarterline Rd. Muskegon, MI 49442 – Room 1300
Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Who: Current MCC Students (registered for the winter semester), must be at least 18 years old

- Deadline to submit pitch application – Sunday, March 3, 2024 by 11:59pm
- Finalists notified – No later than Friday, March 8th (notification will come via students MCC email)
- Finalists present – April 17, 2024
