The Jayhawk Baseball team dropped a 14-4 decision on the road to the JV team from Davenport University.

Jason Anderson (Mona Shores) started on the mound for the Jayhawks giving up 6 runs (5 earned) on 5 hits with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts in 2 innings of work. Andrew Edwards (Zeeland West) came on in relief allowing 4 runs (3 earned) on 3 hits and a walk with 4 strikouts in 3 innings. Dayton Thomas (Ravenna), Brandon Butkus (Allendale), Mehdi Ladjel (St. Joseph), and Stephen Weinert (Ludington) each had 1 hit.

MCC is 2-6 in conference play and 3-15 overall. They will face rival Grand Rapids Community College at home on Saturday, 4/13 with first pitch scheduled for 1:00 pm.
