Each month, MCC focuses on one of the ten goals of the Muskegon Community College 2022-2026 Strategic Plan: Aspiring to Be the Best. In August, we focus on goal #9, which aims to “Provide exceptional environments for effective teaching and learning.” This goal supports priority #3, Excellence, which aspires to prepare students for post-graduate success. We are meeting this goal by increasing the number of faculty members who earn the ACUE certificate in Effective College Instruction and by improving access to instructional content so that that learning is easier for those with hearing, vision, cognitive, and mobile conditions.
