MCC Celebrating Donor Appreciation Day Today

The Foundation for Muskegon Community College will formally thank its donors, who last year provided over $104,000 in support to build scholarship funds and improve programs, with an invitation-only Donor Appreciation Day luncheon on Tuesday, Feb. 19, in the Blue and Gold Room. Weeklong MCC Global Awareness Festival Focuses on Asia

Muskegon Community College’s weeklong 14th Annual Global Awareness Festival continues until Friday and focuses on Asia, a region steeped in history and culture and home to 60 percent of the world’s population whose economy and foreign policies demand international attention. MCC Graduates Record Numbers of Nurses; Nursing Program Pass Rates Exceed State and National

The Muskegon Community College Nursing Program awarded a record 163 nursing diplomas and degrees in 2012 — 83 Associate Degrees in Nursing, and 80 Practical Nurse Diplomas. Among practical nurse graduates, 100% passed the LPN licensing exam on first attempt compared to a Michigan average of 92.57%, and a national average of 84.23%.
