Outdoor Track & Field-Oakland University
The Jayhawk Track & Field teams opened up their outdoor season at the Oakland Invite.There were 16 teams in attendance ranging from D1-Juco. The Jayhawks opened with 4 school records and 1 national qualifier. This is the 6th straight season spanning back to fall of 2022 with at least 1 national qualifier per season. The Jayhawk Baseball team split a doubleheader at Mid Michigan College, winning the opener 7-3 before dropping the night cap by a score of 9-6. Cody Matuz (Fruitport) started on the mound for MCC. The Jayhawk Softball team traveled to face Mid Michigan College and ended up with a split. They dropped the opener by a score of 6-2 before bouncing back for 10-2 5 inning victory in game 2. The Muskegon Community College Softball team picked up two more wins, 10-4 and 11-7 over the JV team from Cornerstone University.
