The Jayhawk Volleybal team completed a successful trip north with a 3-0 win over Alpena Community College. Set scores were 25-18, 25-11, 25-15. The Jayhawk Women’s Basketball team defeated Alpena Community College 78-50 in a rescheduled game in Alpena, MI. Right from the tip the Jayhawks played with intensity and jumped out to a 22-9 lead after the 1st quarter. Alpena picked up their play in the 2nd quarter but MCC held a 41-27 half time lead. The Jayhawk Men’s Basketball Team lost on the road 70-62 at Alpena Community College. MCC started the game slow as they continue to struggle to finish at the rim but the score was tied at 34-34 at the half. Men’s Basketball at Alpena Community College NJCAA Region XII Tournament
The Jayhawk Men’s Basketball team lost a heartbreaker 73-69 at Alpena Community College in the opening round of the NJCAA Region XII Tournament. MCC started the game slowly and they fell behind by 14 with 8 minutes remaining in the first half. They used a late run to cut into the lead, but trailed 35-25 at half time.
